It is a quaint country village. Once the school is spotted on the north side, Esther's Place will be a block west on the same side.
Big Rock is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Geneva, IL; 20 miles southeast of DeKalb, IL ; 15 miles northwest of Yorkville, IL ; 25 miles west of Naperville, IL and 60 miles west of Chicago.

Route your journey with stops at yarn stores, grab a bite at Fireside Grille in Sugar Grove or South Moon BBQ in Hinckley and take a walk at the Big Rock Forest Preserve or even camp there with tent or RV camping available. Go antiquing at Amazing Grace Antiques in Elburn or to the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora. Big Rock is not as far as you think with such easy accessibility and adjacency. It is very much small-town Americana steeped in it's rural roots.
