This fabulous event comprised of three fiber art guilds and countless pieces of inspiration is a feast for the eyes! Exhibits, vendors and a fashion show, all in the beautiful backdrop of the Chicago Botanic Gardens. We will be vending and Natasha Lehrer Lewis' work will be exhibited.
Make a beautiful scarf here at Esther's Place. Class is offered through Waubonsee Community College's "Unique Local Experiences" program. Delight in a river of beautiful colors and designs as you create your very own scarf under the guidance of acclaimed fiber artist Natasha Lewis! Using a few simple materials and a little creativity, you’ll design a beautiful scarf for yourself or someone special. Made from 100% silk and measuring 8 inches x 72 inches, you’re sure to impress! Please bring an apron– everything else is provided.
Create the perfect autumn decor for the home and hearth using wool and needle felting techniques! From their life-like ridges, tendrils and stems to the sweet-smelling surprise of apple mulling spices tucked inside, the 6 inch pumpkins you'll create are fall memory makers worth celebrating.

Farm Tours at 10:30, 12, 1:30 and 4 pm! Pick apples and press cider on a century-old cider press. Visit the farmstand to pick out wonderful produce and a favorite pumpkin! Make a felted pin, enjoy tasty goodies and have fun with this free event. Fun for the whole family!
Ages 10+. Join Fiber Artist Natasha Lehrer Lewis as she walks you through her process of creating textiles and fabrics on her farm, making her own fabrics and materials, and answers your questions about art, entrepreneurship and creativity. Registration required.

Inside the Mind of the Artist features a photographic and storytelling journey of creativity at work and the inspiration behind the artistry of Natasha Lehrer Lewis. Natasha's passion is interweaving the worlds of art, education, and agriculture. She strives to represent the beauty of creation in her work. She dyes, spins, and felts fibers, starting at the source while infusing depth and meaning to the pieces. Her portfolio includes installation pieces, wearables, and sculpture. Her blend of vintage inspiration, romantic styling, strong color theory, and uninhabited originality make her work and teaching a trademark for creativity in the fiber arts community.
